The Waipu Golf Course is an all-weather natural sand-based, 18-hole course offering golfers a challenging game on one of the best greens New Zealand has to offer. A sand-based course is always firm, so the only thing between you and a game is your willingness to carry an umbrella.

Waipu Golf Course is ranked 36 out of the top 50 in New Zealand. Situated on the water’s edge at Bream Bay, its entrance is off SH1 approximately 30 minutes south of Whangarei and 90 minutes north of Orewa. Bream Bay’s panoramic setting makes playing a round on the Waipu course an experience for the senses. Few other New Zealand courses have such a magnificent backdrop available from all 18 holes.
